Even though Luffy and company have defeated several strong pirate crews on their journey, there remain a few that will annihilate them at their current stage. 5. Big Mom Pirates
Big Mom is a former Yonko and one of the strongest Devil Fruit users in One Piece. Even though she was defeated in the Land of Wano by Eustass Captain Kidd and Trafalgar D. Water Law, it goes without saying that the Big Mom Pirates will be a real menace for the Strawhat Pirates. If we are talking crew against crew, the Strawhats have 10 members, while the Big Mom Pirates have more than 80 members.
Even though Monkey D. Luffy has Gear 5 and better control over Haki, after defeating Charlotte Linlin, he would not be able to take on any other members. The biggest enemy of the Strawhat Pirates will be fatigue.
4. Blackbeard Pirates
Every One Piece fan knows that the Strawhats Pirates will face the Blackbeard Pirates at some point. Marshall D. Red Hair Pirates is led by Shanks. Shanks was a former member of the Roger Pirates and the person who inspired Monkey D. Luffy to be a pirate. Without a doubt, the Red-Hair Pirates are one of the strongest pirate crews in One Piece. None of the crew members have any Devil Fruit powers. They rely on Haki-based techniques. Shanks’ Conqueror’s Haki and Observation Haki are considered to be the strongest in One Piece.
The Strawhats are yet to reach the level of the Red-Hair Pirates. Even though Shanks adores Luffy, the Red-Hair Pirates would annihilate the Strawhat Pirates if they ever met on the battlefield.
2. Roger Pirates
Gol D. Roger, the King of the Pirates, had one of the strongest crews in One Piece. With an overpowered crew, including the likes of Silvers Rayleigh, Scopper Gaban, Kozuki Oden, Sunbell, Seagull Guns Nozdon, etc., there is next to no doubt that they would be a great threat to the Strawhat Pirates. The Roger Pirates were the only crew who were able to reach Laughtale and find the One Piece. Sengoku and Monkey D. Garp tried several times, but they could not catch them. Roger used to have daily brawls with Whitebeard.
1. Rocks Pirates
Rocks Pirates is probably the most overpowered pirate crew in One Piece. Even though little is known about Rocks D. Xebec, it is rumored that he was stronger than Gol D. Roger. He was strong enough to make Charlotte Linlin, Kaido, and Whitebeard work under him. If the Rocks Pirates were alive today, the Strawhat Pirates would have been in serious trouble.
