The Ancient Weapons of One Piece are the main element of the final war that will decide the winning side. There are three ancient weapons revealed in the story: Uranus, Poseidon, and Pluton. Currently, the World Government possesses Uranus, and the power of Poseidon is said to be controlled by Princess Shirahoshi of Fish-Man Island.

The third and final ancient weapon, Pluton, was recently revealed during the Wano arc and is currently sleeping beneath the land of Wano. The World Government has tried its best to retrieve these ancient weapons to attain control over the entire world, and while it may have a chance with Poseidon, taking control of Pluton might be next to impossible for them.

According to a One Piece theory, the concept of Pluton in the story makes it impossible for the World Government to grab hold of the weapon, as it is a mechanized whale that could be used to destroy the Red Line in the final war.

The Concept of Whales in One Piece

A One Piece fan account on X (formerly Twitter) @merlinidc recently came up with a theory that explains the importance of whales in the narrative and how they are directly linked to the ancient weapon Pluton. From Laboon to Moby Dick and the ship of Whitebeard, the concept of whales in One Piece is quite varied compared to other sea creatures.

When Laboon was introduced in the story, it was revealed that Crocus installed a complex network of metal chambers, tunnels, and even an island inside the whale, pointing out the fact that the whales in One Piece can be engineered. Also, Laboon was hellbent on destroying Reverse Mountain, one of the gates of the Grand Line.

Also, the whale tree in Zou not only had chambers to hide Raizo but also guarded the red Poneglyph, which is one of the most important Poneglyphs in the history of One Piece. Therefore, it can be said that the whales in One Piece are special creatures who can be used for multiple purposes.

One Piece Theory Explains the Ancient Weapon Pluton

It has already been established that Pluton is an ancient battleship that can easily cause massive damage and destruction to the whole world. According to the theory, the people of the Ancient Kingdom could have known about the complexities of a whale and used it to mechanize or weaponize a giant whale and use it in war.

After that, the ancient weapon could have been hidden under Wano to keep it away from the hands of the World Government, as Wano is one of the few countries that is not affiliated with the World Government. Also, Pluton could be used to open the land of Wano by “destroying” the border walls of the country.

Thus, when the time comes, there is a chance that Luffy’s allies in Wano could operate Pluton and use it to not only open the country but also provide aid in the final war of One Piece. This will not only help Luffy in dealing with the World Government but also balance the scale of the war as Imu already possesses Uranus.
