X-Men ’97 has been soaring among fans of the Marvel Universe. After a few years of dwindling success, the revival of the iconic X-Men: The Animated Series seemed to be like a knight in shining armor for Marvel. From live-action icons like Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire to Lego Spider-Man, and even Insominac’s game variant Peter Parker, every version of the character who made anyone happy made an appearance.

This is why it is extremely suspicious that the web-slinger from Spider-Man: The Animated Series was absent. Considering how there is an entire film left in the series, there is a possibility that he could make an appearance in the third film, perhaps even saving the day.
