George Clooney Reveals They Have A Script For New Ocean’s Movie

During his interview with Uproxx, actor George Clooney shared that they have a script for a possible Ocean’s film. However, he wants to give the title a different name. He stated:

We have a really good script for another Ocean’s now, so we may end up doing another one. It’s actually a great script. Well… I don’t want to call it [Ocean’s 14]. I mean, the idea is kind of like Going in Style.”

In another interview with Variety, he positively reacted to the reports that Barbie stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling are attached to the upcoming prequel. Clooney said:

Producer Josey McNamara also told Games Radar that they are currently working things out for the prequel movie. All that is set right now is that director Jay Roach will be behind the camera, and Carrie Solomon will provide the writing.

I can’t really say much. But I think we’re just trying to do right by the franchise. I’m excited for people to experience it when it’s ready. [Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling] are wonderful together. The more projects even outside of that we can have them do would be amazing.”

Robbie’s production company, LuckyChap Entertainment, will produce the prequel movie that takes place in 1960s Europe.
