Whether you’re a fan of speedsters, tanks, or versatile DPS characters, there’s something for everyone in The First Descendant. And the best part of some of these characters is that three of them are starter characters in the game. So, let’s look at the best builds for Ajax, Bunny, Viessa, Lepic, and Gley in Nexon‘s looter shooter.

Ajax is the quintessential tank in The First Descendant. He provides excellent crowd control and support. He offsets his lack of damage with his Hypercube skill which creates a dome-like shield reflecting damage back to enemies, and Expulsion which knocks back foes and increases his max shield.

You can use a weapon like the Albion Cavalry Gun, which synergizes with his skills. The recommended reactors for Ajax are the Materialized Mechanics and Materialized Phase, which improves his skill power, and defenses. For modules, the Tech Specialist and Matrix Recomputation also improve his supporting and tanking.

Bunny Build

Bunny is a fan favorite for The First Descendant players due to her incredible speed and area-of-effect (AoE) damage. Her best weapons are the Thunder Cage Ultimate, which releases an AOE shockwave upon defeating enemies, and the Executor, perfect for close-range encounters with its Electrocution debuff.

For modules, prioritize Electric Specialist for electric skill power and Technician to boost overall skill power. Defensive modules like Increased DEF, HP, and Shield are important since Bunny has lower defense compared to others. The Tingling Mixture Reactor further boosts her electric skill power.

Viessa Build

Viessa is a versatile character specializing in ice-based attacks. Her abilities focus on maximizing skill damage and cooldown reduction. The build revolves around her ability to spam high-damage skills like Frost Shards. The Frozen Mechanics Reactor is ideal for boosting her skill power and Chill efficiency.

Key modules for Viessa include Cold-Bloodedness, which boosts skill power and reduces cooldowns, and Spear and Shield, which increases her defense. For weapons, Clairvoyance is highly recommended, as it boosts chill attack and critical hit rates. This build is highly effective against bosses and large groups of enemies.

Lepic Build

Lepic is a versatile character, proficient in both weapon and skill damage. His fire attribute allows for high DPS, especially with the Enduring Legacy machine gun. Modules like Focus on Fire and Front Lines, paired with the Burning Mechanics Reactor, significantly boost his fire-based skills and overall damage output.

Lepic’s Close Call passive ability provides a safety net in tough situations, and his ultimate version offers substantial early and late-game strength. For external components, a combination of Volcanic and Battle Aesthetics Sensor sets increases his overall survivability and damage, making Lepic a reliable and powerful character throughout the game.

Gley Build

Gley stands out in The First Descendant with her unique ability to consume her own HP to deal extra damage, making her a high-risk, high-reward character. The Vestigial Organ Launcher and a good sniper rifle like Afterglow Sword are ideal weapons for a Gley build, with their Firearm ATK and Critical Hit Damage boost.

The Massive Sanguification module is the best, as she can absorb life orbs and buff her stats. The Predator Instinct module is especially useful for her Massacre and Life Siphon skills. External components like the Annihilation Set increase her attack power based on health loss which complements her perfectly.

By focusing on the strengths of these The First Descendant characters and using the right skills, weapons, reactors, and modules, you’ll be ready for any situation in the game.
