In an interview, Bloober Team’s Head Kacper Michalski, shared his thoughts about the process of reviving the classic horror title. Michalski said the studio was honored and excited that Konami gave them the opportunity to remake Silent Hill 2.

Bloober Team is very determined to prove that they can deliver a remake that honors the original title while also pushing the boundaries of horror gaming with modern technology. Michalski said:
Mastering the art of horror is the path we follow and to which we always want to hold on. Our studio has grown significantly over the last few years, and now we’re at a point when we feel fully mature to handle even the biggest projects.
Studio has proven its worth in the past with titles like The Medium, Blair Witch, and other horror titles. Fans are also excited to see how the studio will create immersive and terrifying experiences in Silent Hill 2 while also maintaining the original’s legacy.
