Life is unpredictable, and any small or large incident can entirely derail a person’s path. True to this statement is Jeremy Renner, whose snowplow accident in January 1, 2023 profoundly altered the trajectory of his life. The actor suffered traumatic chest trauma and orthopedic injuries when his 14,000-pound Sno-Cat ran over him.
Despite the hardships, after various rehabilitation programs, the actor is on the road to fully restoring his health and fitness. And he’s making sure that his fans join him on this wonderful journey as well.
Jeremy Renner discusses the good things that came after his accident
Renner has always been a gym devotee, as seen by the six-pack abs he displayed in his role in Hawkeye. However, fitness has taken on a new meaning for the actor. He echoed the same attitude in an interview with Men’s Health for their most recent Gym and Fridge series.
After discussing what he eats and what fuels his body, the actor proceeds to display his gym. On the subject of a change in workout since the accident, the actor recalled the benefits of the near-fatal event and added-
Pain doesn’t exist; bad days don’t exist in my life; it’s impossible. It is in our minds and in our power to navigate through that. I know it’s mentally exhausting, but it’s so worth it.
Further, the actor is not afraid to showcase his scars from the accident, as it shows survival and resilience and mentions that they are just reminders of the beautiful day of the accident that could have gone really, really bad.
The actor can talk about the positives of health and fitness now; however, the accident has left him terrified to act again in movies.

The actor has now bounced back on his road to recovery in full force; however, this road to rehabilitation also presents its own set of hurdles.
In a recent interview with Will Arnett, Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes on the Smartless podcast, the actor stated that he was somewhat terrified about his return to acting and added-
I just don’t have the energy for it. Because that takes a lot of time to get right here every day just so I can have a positive thought, so I can progress, so I can always keep growing
Following his injury, the actor returned to the set for the first time this year, in January, to film the third season of Mayor of Kingstown, where he portrays the character, Mike McLusky. However, given the severity of his accident, portraying a series of more challenging roles would be difficult for the actor, at least at the moment.
However, this does not prevent him from regaining control of his life, as he’s all prepared to star in his first film after the accident, Rian Johnson’s Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, alongside Andrew Scott, Kerry Washington, and Daniel Craig, to name a few.
