Palworld was released earlier this year in Early Access and was an instant success for Pocketpair. The game broke multiple records and raked in large number of players, also topping Steam’s best-seller charts.
The game has sold over 25 million copies worldwide so far with the majority sales in the first few weeks. Palworld has now hit another milestone and the community manager isn’t getting tired of praising players anytime soon.
Palworld Has Made Another Record, This Time on Twitch
According to the list of top video game titles launched in 2024 by Stream Charts, Palworld has ranked number 1 based on peak viewership on Twitch as of 17 July. The game also has a massive lead over the titles behind it.
The game has been watched on the platform for over 78 million hours and the peak viewership count it reached is 434k. The second and third ranked games are Enshrouded and Arena Breakout: Infinite with over 16 million hours.
Chained Together and XDefiant ranked fourth and fifth. Both these titles had more hype than Pocketpair’s title but recorded only 18 and 19 million hours, respectively. However, they also launched quite late than this game.
The other five games in the top 10 most viewed titles include EA Sports College Football 25, Dragon’s Dogma 2, Once Human, Gray Zone Warfare, and Nexon’s new released shooter The First Descendant.
Palworld Community Manager Can’t Stop Appreciating Gamers
The game garnered a massive community soon after launch and the developer Pocketpair has kept players engaged with post-launch contents. Soon after the viewership report was published, the game’s community manager Bucky praised the players.
He thanked the gamers for playing the game and added that the team is “aware that the majority of this viewing time happened towards the start of the year but we are still really blown away to see the stats!” Bucky also appreciated the streamers for streaming the game.

Bucky has been very active on X/Twitter since the game’s launch and has been interacting with the fans about the game and updates. He has always appreciated the players for their contribution to the game’s success. This has helped maintain players’ trust in the game.
The recent in-game update, Sakurajima launched a few months back and added brand-new content to the game. The update brought the first raid boss of the game, alongside other new Pals, new items, buildings, and more.
Several UI and players related adjustments were also made for a better gaming experience and more. The game has still maintained its relevance and it seems that it will be like that for quite a while if there are proper content updates.
