Palworld has been making waves in the gaming community ever since its release. With the fan-favorite concept of catching and battling with Pokemons and the added bonus of gun-toting gameplay, the game has already captured a global audience.
The only thing missing was an index like Pokedex to keep a comprehensive track of all the Pals in the game. However, Palpedia is here to squash those concerns as the website boasts of a complete list of all the Pals available in the virtual world of Palworld.
Created by some enthusiastic players, this Pokedox-esque tool quickly became a fan-favorite as gamers flocked to it to enquire and check up on information about their Pals.
Palworld: Pokemon for Gunslingers
Palworld combines the famed creature-capturing mechanics of Pokemon and combines them with the survival, resource gathering, and base building of other open-world RPGs.
Spanning across the monster-taming, action-adventure, and survival genres, Palworld has a more dark and mature theme compared to the wholesome and humorous world of Pokemon. With the feature to make Pals work for you, PETA has gotten involved. Apparently, the devs have been cruel to the Pals in the game.
In Palword, capturing and befriending Pals is just another part of the game. The game involves players using their Pals’ abilities to build bases, factories, collect resources, and develop complex production lines. You will have to use guns, traps, and other elements to hunt, kill enemies, and capture Pals.
The developers are actively working on the game with many instances of players cheating on the official servers surfacing all over.

Currently, some players have been confirmed to be cheating on the official server.
We will apply a patch as soon as it is ready, but it is currently difficult to completely prevent all cheating immediately.

But, in spite of all the hurdles coming its way, Palworld is putting up impressive numbers. It became the all-time second-highest concurrent player in Steam history with 1.8 million logging in to the servers during its opening weekend.
The developers, Pocketpair, have confirmed that the game sold 7 million copies within the first 5 days of its release. Judging by the trajectory, Palworld’s popularity is set to increase in the coming days. The game was initially released with minimum marketing which made it fly under the radar for many gamers. But with its tremendous financial success and global exposure since its release, more gamers are becoming a part of the Palworld community with every passing day.
Does Palworld Infringe on the Copyrights of Pokemon?
In response to numerous inquiries sent their way by players, The Pokemon Company took to release a statement saying that they are investigating the matter internally.
However, players have rallied for the game with many of them reportedly unhappy about Nintendo’s current course of action. The fan opinion is firmly in favor of Palworld after the Pokemon developers failed to deliver a proper game to match up to the expectations of Pokemon fans around the globe.
Does this move by The Pokemon Company feel like a case of ‘I cannot so you cannot either’? Palworld has successfully combined the engaging monster-catching mechanism with the fan-favorite survival mechanics. Woven together with smooth combat mechanisms, Palworld is a game that any developer would be proud of.
So, now that Palpedia is here to act as your Pokedex, will it be of help? What do you think about the Pokedex equivalent for Palworld? Should the developers have created an official Paldex? How do you rate the creation of just another Palworld gamer that is being used my thousands of players globally?
