Unexpectedly, Kinda Funny’s Parris Lilly got involved, and things took a very undesirable turn.
Parris publicly and clearly went after DreamcastGuy with his comment under the broadcast post on social media (X), sparking a new discussion. Now, fans are discussing this feud and taking sides.
Kinda Funny’s Parris Lilly Is Uncomfortable About Having DreamcastGuy on Reviewers Roundtable Broadcast
Parris Lilly commented under VGC’s X (Twitter) post announcing the Star Wars Outlaws Reviewers Roundtable stream, stating that working with DreamcastGuy gives a bad impression. Moreover, he said that most of the audience agreed with himself.
Parris took things a step further and stated that DreamcastGuy is one of the most hypocritical content creators in the gaming industry, saying that he expresses views that he does not actually believe just to make money. He also said that he misrepresents everything in the world of game creators and should be avoided.

This discussion wasn’t just limited to a social media comment. As many people debated this feud, some sided with Parris, while others supported DreamcastGuy.
Fans who sided with Kinda Funny in this feud left harsh comments criticizing DreamcastGuy under the broadcast video. Most of these comments shared the view that he wasn’t a serious game commentator, but rather an over-the-top console warrior and a clickbaiter.
Many people here said that they would skip the parts where he spoke on the broadcast and listen to other commentators.

Of course, there’s another side. Some others shared posts criticizing Parris, believing he was unfair to Dreamcast. The post that received the most interaction pointed out that Parris hates people who build their channels from scratch and argued that he has no credibility to criticize content creators like him.
VGC Made a Statement on YouTube Following Criticisms
Following criticism from fans who agree with Parris that Dreamcast Guy should not have been on the air and that proper research wasn’t done when selecting participants for the broadcast, VGC made a statement addressing the discussions.
In its statement, the publisher acknowledged that after the broadcast went air, it became aware of things it hadn’t known before. Admitting that it failed to fully vet the people involved in the broadcast, the publisher promised to be more careful about such issues in the future.
