The Last of Us Creator Teases Never-Scene-Before Elements in The Second Season
The Last of Us series led by Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey is set to commence shooting its second season in February next year. Neil Druckmann who is the mastermind behind the original games recently talked about adapting the second game and elements that are significant to the story.
Talking to Entertainment Weekly, Druckmann revealed that at least one element from a deleted level in The Last of Us Part II is most likely to make its way into the series. The creator also claimed that they will make necessary changes to the established narrative of the second game to suit what’s best for the second season of the series. He said,
“As a tease, I will say there is at least one element from a cut level that is planned [for] the show. I say that with the caveat that we haven’t started filming the show yet and all things are subject to change based on what we ultimately feel will be best for the show.”
This will be an exciting addition for both the fans of the series and the games as they will be on the same page in experiencing something new. It remains to be seen how the makers plan to cover the vast and complex narrative of the second game and do justice to it.
