Cyberpunk 2077 was a game that went through the darkest and harshest parts of video game reception of all time but managed to bounce back in a much more acceptable and decent state. However, that did not stop talented modders from doing a better job than the developers who work for a huge gaming company like CD Projekt Red.
Photorealism gaming is a lifelong dream of both developers and players. Recent games have looked incredibly lifelike and sometimes even better than reality. Fans had high expectations for Cyberpunk 2077 given the alleged amount of production and budget that went into development, but the futuristic nature was a little too ambitious to make the vision a reality.
Modders Have Added a New Photorealism Mod for Cyberpunk
Perhaps if the mod was made available a few years ago, right around the launch period of Cyberpunk, it could have helped make a difference in how fans perceived the ambitious futuristic game.

In the post above, modders have gone above and beyond by fully recognizing the vision of a photorealistic video game. It’s a far cry from Elon Musk’s futuristic take on a vehicle, which was named the Cybertruck. Despite being accessible in the present day, the truck seems to be suffering from the same level of failure as the game did on launch.
The Cyberpunk mod will transport gamers to a brand new location rather than take them on a trip to a different world. The visual fidelity is quite mind-blowing and could be easily mistaken for real life. Some games have reached unbelievable heights with visual fidelity, like Red Dead Redemption 2 and The Last of Us Part 2. The wizards over at Rockstar Games and Naughty Dog could also take notes from modders.
Photorealism in Video Games Is Now Achievable Through the Latest Cyberpunk Mod
The talented and hardworking developers at CD Projekt Red have been tasked with the truly daunting challenge of creating a video game that boasts an incredibly ambitious scope and scale. They must not only design and program every detail of the game but also ensure that it is polished and refined to meet the high standards of quality that the studio is known for.
It is a task that requires immense creativity, technical expertise, and a tireless work ethic, and it is no wonder that the gaming community eagerly awaits the finished product with bated breath.
Cyberpunk 2077 has gone through hell and back, but the current status of the game seems to be its strongest yet, but could even be stronger if the developers could somehow utilize the level of visual fidelity as seen from the mod. Granted, it would be quite demanding for the hardware, and it may take a toll on them, but if modders can do it with a limited budget, perhaps one day the majority of triple-A games will look this great.
