Just like almost every other fictional character, DC’s favorite comic book superhero Superman also has a long legacy, carried forward by multiple actors throughout the decades.
Yet, with almost every new actor, fans tend to grow attached and comfortable with them, and every time they get replaced, fans have their dreams crushed as they see someone else put on his cape. The same is happening with David Corenswet as well.
After the remarkable portrayal by Henry Cavill of the Man of Steel during the SnyderVerse, many fans can’t seem to swallow the fact that they would no longer see Cavill in the red-blue superhero suit, but someone else.
However, some recently photoshopped pictures that have been making rounds on the internet holding Corenswet in Superman’s suit are doing wonders as they make many believe the actor is the right replacement for Cavill in James Gunn’s DCU reboot.

Fan-Made Picture Makes David Corenswet The Perfect Match To Play Superman
When fans heard that Henry Cavill would be bidding farewell to their favorite DC character and someone else would be playing Superman in James Gunn’s DCU reboot, they were nothing short of utterly devastated.
Then came reports and speculations of who would get cast as the next Clark Kent, which eventually landed at David Corenswet.
While many fans were happy at this news because of the striking resemblance the actor shares with Cavill and the late Christopher Reeve (who is regarded as one of the best Kent portrayers to date), others were still heartbroken and unsure if Corenswet could carry the legacy equally stunningly.
Well, this one’s for all the people who come in the latter category: In a recent photoshopped fan-made picture, Corenswet was seen sporting the very same superhero costume that Cavill wore during his tenure in the DCEU. And, boy, did he look perfect.

Although the pictures are fake and clearly photoshopped, these haven’t ceased to make a lot of fans believe what a perfect replacement David Corenswet is for Henry Cavill to play the next Superman in James Gunn‘s DCU reboot.

As expected, these pictures, despite being evidently photoshopped, have worked their magic on most DC fans’ hearts. Not only does David Corenswet look inevitably cool in the costume, but even fans are convinced that he could actually nail it in the superhero’s suit.

Even though David Corenswet would actually sport a differently designed costume of the superhero, all these tremendous reviews from fans are already pointing at a massive ‘Yes’ to him getting cast in the role.
The only remaining thing would be for James Gunn to helm the storyline and everything in such a way that it fits perfectly around the fan-favorite superhero in Superman: Legacy — which would mark the beginning of the DCU reboot — and every project that follows to make the reboot a true success.
