Sony’s Helldivers 2 seems to be a game that contains the well of endless fun. With the ever-growing title bringing out new content for its players occasionally, data miners have done their own search, and it looks like we will get to see the return of an old enemy.
That is right, recent leaks indicate how the new faction of The Illuminate would be making a comeback appearance soon enough in the game. The reason behind the major excitement is that this particular faction was also there in the original Helldivers title, and players have battled it before.
Who Are The Illuminates And When Are They Coming To Helldivers 2
As stated before, the current leaks making their respective rounds on Twitter are part of a data mining effort. This has revealed many more upcoming features, such as driveable mechs that will soon be making their way into the game.
The leaks also strongly hint towards the fact that The Illuminate is going to be making a return to Helldivers 2. This is an enemy faction that has way too advanced civilization and technology when compared to that of Super Earth, and someone who we have struggled against in the original Helldivers title.
Unfortunately, the exact date at which the developers would be finally releasing the enemy for the players to fight remains unknown. Fans have been on the edge of their seat waiting for the alleged leaks to come true, including the much-awaited mechs that will be used in missions.
Different Types Of Enemies In The Illuminate Faction And How To Defeat Them
The leaks not only contain the information about The Illuminate coming back to Helldivers 2 but also list what would be the different types of enemies we would get to see when they do. This list includes the Adept, The Ghoul, and The Illusionist.
The Illusionist in particular is something that the player might have to worry about, as they have the ability known as the Force Choke listed to their name in game files. Lastly, the data miners were able to find a news scroll within the game which states how the faction is quickly but subtly progressing through conquering the stars in the sky, which gives a background to why they are such formidable opponents.
There are no proper strategies right now that can be implemented to defeat the coming faction. However, one can stick to tactics from the original Helldivers game if they turn out to be similar to their earlier counterparts.
