Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 did not have the best launch and was called out by players and critics alike for the short and lackluster campaign and other features. The game’s first season launched on December 6 and brought new content, including new weapons, maps, and modes.

However, players have been facing an issue where they get kicked out during a match for inactivity while they are stationary for a while and sniping. Players are now bashing the developers for this issue, which can easily be called the dumbest feature in the franchise.

A Call of Duty player took to Facebook on the Call of Duty: Warzone Community and posted a 36-second gameplay video of them sniping enemies from a distance while being stationary, and soon they got kicked out of the game with a notice saying “Kicked for Inactivity.” The player wrote that developers shouldn’t have kept big maps in the game if players can’t snipe without being kicked out.

Many players have been facing this problem if they sit idle with a sniper for a few minutes in the same place, and players need to keep moving to avoid this. However, it does not make sense for a player with a sniper to keep moving when they’re on the lookout for targets. Several players joined in and shared their thoughts on this issue, with many also advising players on how to avoid getting kicked.

A player stated that developers should remove sniper rifles from the game because this has been happening at an alarming rate. Another player added that they were kicked out of the game while playing in HC Domination in Rust with kill streaks, and it happened right in the middle.

A player went on to say, “So glad I was smart enough to NOT spend money!” A player also added that developers should remove all the maps other than Shipment, Rust, and Meat if this keeps happening.

Another Call of Duty player added that they were kicked for sniping while they were on top of the crane in the Invasion mode, adding that it does not make sense to have an expansive map that allows you to get to places and have sniper rifles with high-powered scopes if you can’t snipe.

However, not all Call of Duty players think the same. Many advised the player to keep moving around the place and not sit in one spot for a long time, adding that being able to see more than half of the map from one spot puts other players at a disadvantage. Some also added that this is mainly to avoid camping and spawn trapping, and players should be moving constantly to avoid getting kicked out.

Many players also called out the players for camping and added that they should not complain about not being good at the game. Some Call of Duty players also countered that camping is an in-game feature, and players are also allowed to put their guns on cover, so it is “legitimately allowed.”

A player stated that moving slowly around the map and taking out enemies with ghost perks prevents players from getting kicked out. It is also important to move so that enemies can’t find the spot where they are. The Call of Duty community has been complaining about this for a long time, and this has been happening for a while in the franchise, but there hasn’t been any official update from developers about this.
