Arnold Schwarzenegger is fond of many things. But the one thing he loves the most is the game of chess. So when Chris Pratt became acquainted with the Terminator star, he had to learn to play chess. And it looks like the father-son-in-law duo spends a lot of time playing and bonding over it. In an exclusive interview with ExtraTV, Schwarzenegger revealed that he is very impressed with his son-in-law’s chess abilities, but there was one time when he got annoyed. This was when he almost got beaten by the Passengers actor.

“In all fairness, I am a mediocre chess player … It is just that Chris Pratt has just begun playing chess, but he’s very, very focused. He’s very, very smart, and he’s a quick, quick learner. I think he’s extraordinary. I was in the middle of a game, almost losing the game, so I had to stay focused. I had to visualise myself as the winner. I said, ‘Please, can you leave right now? I’m about to lose!'”

Even though he might have been annoyed at that one time, it seems Arnold Schwarzenegger is totally amazed by his son-in-law. Previously, Chris Pratt had also spoken up about how he loves to spend time playing chess with his father-in-law, although he has never once won against him.
