Even before Deadpool & Wolverine, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively used to be one of the most precious couples in the entire entertainment industry, if not the world. And then the Marvel masterpiece came about, and Hugh Jackman stole the spot beside Reynolds. But it seems like even Jackman has had enough of his real-life Merc with a Mouth co-star.

As it turns out, while Lively is out promoting her recently released book-based movie It Ends with Us, Reynolds has been spending some real quality time with his Deadpool 3 co-star. And taking care of him all this time is actually becoming too much for Jackman at this point, who is now pleading with Lively to return because Reynolds is a needy crybaby without her!
Hugh Jackman is Pleading Blake Lively to Return Home
Recently, Blake Lively got into an interview with Capital FM to promote her latest released live-action adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s viral novel It Ends with Us. During this, a message left behind by her beloved husband for her was shown to her in which both the Deadpool & Wolverine leads piped in to share just how lonely Reynolds was with Lively gone.

In the clip, the Free Guy star says in an utterly trembling voice (via Capital FM):
Come Home. Please come home. I miss you. The kids miss you. I don’t know what’s going on lately. This little sojourn of yours. I understand you want to see the world. I understand you want to do things outside of, you know, all the other things that you do. But we… [holds back a sob] we need you.
Hilariously enough, Hugh Jackman chimed in this emotional clip as well, saying:
He does, Blake. He really, really does. Seriously, he’s at my house crying nonstop. Please come back. I don’t wanna kiss him anymore. I can’t pretend to be you anymore. I just can’t. I’m trying, but it just doesn’t work. [Breaks character and laughs] Please come home.

This was followed by Ryan Reynolds once again continuing his emotional plead to Lively, pointing out how he doesn’t have “anyone to hold me at night.” But while Lively tried hard to hold back her laugh and tears at it, Reynolds also left a bit of a motivational part for his wife to encourage her while she was promoting her film, going on to say:
But you go on and you do the things that you wanna do. Go find yourself. I will, uhhh, march forward with the kids and we will come back stronger and better than ever. We don’t need you.
As the clip ended, Lively was seen holding the same reaction that perhaps most fans sported: Laughing and holding back tears at the same time, both at the sarcasm and humor of the situation as well as the way Reynolds perfectly delivered his message to his wife. But while he is one to channel this energy impeccably, his wife had an even better response to his message.
Blake Lively Reacts to Ryan Reynolds’ Emotional Message

After watching the clip, Lively had the most wifey response to her husband pleading for her to come back home and take care of him. Initially, she said that she really “need[s]” that heartwarming clip, asking the crew to “airdrop that to me.” But what came next was the more hilarious part.
Continuing, Lively pointed out what really got to her from the entire touching message, saying:
That was amazing. It was the ‘anymore’. Hugh was saying ‘I can’t kiss him anymore.’ That really was the headline for me. That’s the one that I’m gonna be able to- That one has a real aftertaste.
Needless to say, Blake Lively’s sly emphasis on ‘anymore’ and savoring the ‘aftertaste’ of Hugh Jackman’s jest is what still has us giggling and rooting for this Hollywood trio’s hilarious hijinks—and will probably continue to do so until the end of time!
You can catch both It Ends with Us and Deadpool & Wolverine out in theatres now!
