After a long wait, the fourth sequel of the superhit martial arts movie has finally been confirmed. Expected to release by next year, Kung Fu Panda 4 will have Jack Black resume his fan-favorite adorable yet deadly Panda as he gets ready to resume his place as the Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace.

The anticipated animated flick will have the old cast resume their respective role as well as have many new cast members including the two Oscar winners, Viola Davis and Ke Huy Quan, who will be voicing Chameleon and Han respectively. Also starring the Shang Chi star Awkwafina, the official synopsis of the movie reads (via Screen Rant),

“Po, the Dragon Warrior [is] tapped to become the Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace… he needs to quickly find and train a new Dragon Warrior before he can assume his new lofty position… Even worse, there’s been a recent sighting of a wicked, powerful sorceress, Chameleon… Po’s going to need some help. He finds it in the form of crafty, quick-witted thief Zhen [Awkwafina]… Po will discover that heroes can be found in the most unexpected places.”
