DC is now preparing for the launch of the DC Universe with James Gunn and Peter Safran in the lead. And it will finally use its biggest advantage over its competitor, MCU.

Gunn and Safran announced in January 2023 that they officially had a new ten-year plan for DC. They will shoot two films a year and two HBO Max series a year—the quality-over-quantity approach that Marvel is missing out on.

The Universe will be divided into chapters. The first one is God and Monsters, and it will begin in 2025 with the movie Superman: Legacy. This proves that DC is finally using its biggest advantage over the MCU.
