Quentin Tarantino Made An Odd Comparision

During an interview with MTV, via @25lambs, Quentin Tarantino and George Clooney were promoting their 1996 film, From Dusk Till Dawn, where, other than talking about their collective project, the renowned filmmaker also talked about the process of casting for it.

He was quite close to the production aspects of the film, having been responsible for the screenplay, even though he did not direct it, which gave him quite a lot of knowledge of why certain actors were cast and certain roles.

It was revealed to him that one time, he and the director of this project, Robert Rodriguez, saw the 1995, cover of US magazine, where Clooney was named the Sexiest Man, when Rodriguez told him, that they should cast him in the film as he looks a lot like Tarantino himself. He also added that the two could play brothers, which is something that did end up happening in the movie, with Clooney playing the role of Seth Gecko and Tarantino playing the role of Richard Gecko.

George Clooney Was Extremely Confused

Well, some can see the similarities in the facial features of the two, but the majority would disagree with Robert Rodriguez’s judgment. George Clooney, himself is one of them. As seen during this interview, when Quentin Tarantino mentioned this, the actor had quite a hilarious reaction, he looked extremely confused at what he just heard.
