Ray Fisher is back in the sci-fi genre after his much controversial exit from DC, all set to appear in Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon. After portraying Cyborg in the DC Extended Universe, Fisher earned widespread acclaim and praise for his acting. However, his feat was short-lived after he made some serious accusations against his Justice League director, Joss Whedon, as well as former DC films head, Walter Hamada.
Now back in Snyder’s sci-fi franchise Rebel Moon as Darrian Bloodaxe, the actor appears to have stolen all the thunder after the release of the new trailer.
Ray Fisher Steals All The Thunder After Rebel Moon’s Trailer
Starring as Darrian Bloodaxe, a resistance fighter in soon-to-be-released Netflix’s Rebel Moon, Ray Fisher is drawing many eyes towards him. Despite his relatively short appearance in the newly released trailer, he has been earning praise and compliments for his portrayal. Many fans took to social media to express their delight after watching the trailer.
The actor had previously appeared in DC’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Fisher was well-praised back then and was soon deemed as the best Cyborg there is. However, the actor left after he accused Joss Whedon and Walter Hamada of being unprofessional and threatening his career.
Now starring in Zack Snyder‘s science fiction movie, which has all the hopes of becoming a big franchise, Fisher seems to be in for the long run. His character will also appear in the soon-to-be-released comic book series, House of the Bloodaxe, which aims to serve as a prequel to the original Rebel Moon storyline.
Since his character serves what seems to be a pretty important role, fans are nothing but excited and happy for the actor to have gotten such an amazing opportunity, and certainly cannot wait to see him showcase his exceptional talents once again.
Fans Praise Ray Fisher After Rebel Moon Trailer Release
Darrian Bloodaxe used to be a formidable leader of the rebel forces but due to the large scale difference between the Imperium and his forces, he had to give up. Now as Kora is ready to fight and defend Veldt, Bloodaxe and his sister join forces with her.
While not much is known about him, he appears to be an exceptional fighter and to have Ray Fisher star as the brooding character, fans are delighted and elated. Many expressed their excitement on X, stating,
“Ray Fisher was the best Cyborg we will ever see. He was AMAZING in ZSJL. And as Darrian Bloodaxe he looks absolutely incredible!! “
With Rebel Moon slated to release this year, many can hardly wait to witness what Fisher has in store for his fans as Darrian Bloodaxe.
Rebel Moon will be in limited theatres on December 15, 2023, and will be streaming on Netflix on December 22, 2023.
