The Cobra Kai series has long been entertaining viewers for its expansion of the beloved Karate Kid mythos years after it was first released. Now in its final leg aka last season, the universe is set to expand even further as a new Karate Kid movie was announced uniting Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan.
While it is easy to tell who is the best fighter among the two, a real-life Karate sensei has revealed who might be the best fighter among all the actors in the Cobra Kai universe. And it is not the original Karate Kid Macchio but rather William Zabka who would emerge victorious among them all.
Real-Life Karate Sensei Predicts Who Is The Ultimate Cobra Kai Fighter
Sensei Seth Adams has been in the martial arts realm all his life. Starting at the age of 3, the artist has a wide experience across different kinds of sports as well as martial arts. Years ago he posted a video on YouTube, ending a major debate among the fans of the Karate Kid universe, revealing who is the ultimate fighter among the Cobra Kai actors.
From the cast of the hit series he pitched all the major actors against each other in a fictional tournament, keeping the ages of all the original actors the same as they first starred in Karate Kid. They were judged on various parameters like past training, height, and online footage of their training.
In the first round, William Zabka was against Ralph Macchio, Tanner Buchanan against Gianni DeCenzo, Peyton List against Mary Mouser, and Xolo Maridueña against Jacob Bertrand. Keeping all the parameters in mind, Zabka and Bertrand made it to the final round of the fictional tournament.
Since Zabka is physically bigger and seemingly more agile as is apparent from his old videos, the actor would definitely be the ultimate winner among all of Cobra Kai’s impressive cast.
New Karate Kid Movie To Unite Jackie Chan And Ralph Macchio
In a surprising video posted on Sony Pictures Entertainment’s YouTube channel, Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan announced a new movie that bands them together for the first time within the Karate Kid universe.
For years ever since Cobra Kai was released fans had been campaigning for the two actors to unite and now it is finally happening. The plot details have not yet been revealed by the studio but it seems Macchio will be reprising his role as Daniel LaRusso and Chan will be starring as Mr. Han from his 2010 Karate Kid remake.
As exciting as it is, this collaboration would also open up the chance for Chan to enter the Cobra Kai universe, whose season 6 would be the final of the series. The movie will be released by December 13, 2024.
