Keanu Reeves plays the role of an angry and vengeful hitman named John Wick, who re-emerges from his retirement after his life is disheveled. John is shown as a hurting guy who lost his wife and the dog that she bequeathed to him. He is completely shattered, but gathers himself up and sets out on a mission to take revenge on all those who wronged him. The movie includes a series of blood bath and thrilling action sequences which offers an adrenaline rush for the viewers.
The fourth installment of the franchise, John Wick: Chapter 4 hits the theatre screens on 24th March. The fans of the movie and the actor are very excited to see the action sequences of the franchise as promised in the trailer. Keanu Reeves played the lead role in 2014 for the first part of the franchise, John Wick. There were two sequels to the movie, including John Wick: Chapter 2 and John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum released in 2019. All these movies were commercial hits and the fourth one is also anticipated to be a chartbuster.

Keanu Reeves comments on his traumatic role in John Wick
Keanu Reeves has been devoted to his role for almost a decade now, and The Matrix actor is still very fond of this character. Talking about his attachment to the movie and role, Keanu Reeves revealed that he is drawn to characters that have suffered trauma. In an interview with Jake’s Takes, The Whole Truth actor shared,
“I enjoy playing characters who suffer. I think because it makes good drama, and I feel like that’s what connects us to John Wick,”
Keanu Reeves added,
“He keeps getting hit by cars, he keeps getting shot, he’s getting beat up, but he keeps trying to fight for what he wants and believes in.”
For the unversed, actor Keanu Reeves has also faced emotional struggles in life, including the demise of his infant daughter and ex-girlfriend, several years back.
Part four of the John Wick franchise has brought lots of excitement for the fans eagerly waiting for the release. The upcoming movie will see John Wick plunging into fights with the High Table. It will be interesting to see the nail-biting action scenes that will keep you hooked to your seats.
