The PlayStation-exclusive God Of War franchise has been around for nearly 18 years now and has managed to gather a large fanbase owing to its excellent story writing as well as outstanding action gameplay.
The franchise even managed to win the best game of the Year award in 2018 with God Of War Part 3. The most recent installment in the series came out last year with God Of War: Ragnarök, and has left fans asking for more, something Sony might already have set their eyes on doing.

Sony Teases Development Of A New God Of War Game
The franchise developed by the studio Santa Monica in collaboration with Sony is one of the most known franchises known around the world of video games. Its recent release last year was something that was received well by the fans, which is an opportunity Sony would definitely want to utilize.
Seeing the opening, the company did make a move recently, and it was revealed on Twitter how Sony has opened job opportunities for the upcoming God Of War Games.
The listing mentions how a “Combat Designer” is required, with the eligibility that the individual must have knowledge about the previous two games.

This has obviously excited many fans already, who can not wait for the series to get another release in the coming years. Many fans have also started to wonder which location the new game will be based on.
Fans Speculate Next Location Of God Of War
The fourth part in the series showed the plot taking a major turn, as Kratos traverses from the Greek realm to the Norse realm, however, he has a companion this time, who is none other than his son Atreus.
After destroying the whole of the Greek realm and finally killing his father Zeus, Kratos lands himself in trouble again against new foes nobody ever thought he would have to fight.
Both God Of War 2018 as well God Of War: Ragnarök covered Kratos’ adventure as he fights off gods such as Baldur, Thor, and then finally Odin. After finally defeating Odin, the game comes to an end where Atreus is shown going on his own out in the wilderness, leaving Kratos alone for whatever faith holds for him next.
