And as was the case with the first film in the series, this too is being called a visual masterpiece with so many elements and environments flowing together. Coming to one of the key components of the film’s narrative, the striking look of the Water of Life in the story was something that Ferguson allegedly takes credit for since she suggested the director use Kosako Vodka Mora Azul or UV Blue Raspberry Flavored Vodka to achieve the eye-catching blue color of the mystical liquid.

Not only did her efforts go into her performance, but her suggestion on what to use to recreate the Water of Life from the books into the film was also taken up by director Denis Villeneuve swiftly.

This piece of information about the Silo actress is a popular rumor, where it states that the luminous blue shade that the liquid was thanks to her suggesting the use of Kosako Vodka Mora Azul, which is a brand of Vodka that has the same electric blue color that the Water of Life had in the film, while other rumors claim that it was UV Blue Raspberry Flavored Vodka. The rumor also states that this was a quick idea that she came up with.

It’s claimed that the night before she was to shoot the scene where she consumes the liquid for the first time, she suggested the use of this drink as the liquid infused with dizzying amounts of spice in the film to the Arrival director. Thus, while it’s obvious that it must’ve been diluted to get rid of the buzz of alcohol, she may have got a taste of fine vodka on such a massive production while filming.
