Season 3 of the hit television drama left several unanswered questions. Would things get better for Alex and Bradley? How would their friendship evolve after the happenings of season 3? Or would Bradley really be in jail after surrendering herself to the FBI?

While talking at a panel moderated by Deadline, Reese Witherspoon remarked about the various questions being asked by the audience regarding her character’s future and the direction of the show in season 4.

“Everybody keeps asking me if Bradley’s in jail, I don’t know if I’m in trouble.”

While Jennifer Aniston joked that she must have already decided on the shade of orange, her co-star maintained that she would not be spoiling season 4. After the events of the last season, with Jackson quitting her job to face law enforcement after hiding her brother’s crimes, it is highly anticipated that Witherspoon’s character might end up in jail, wearing an orange jumpsuit.

If such a feat does happen, it would definitely be disastrous for her character, endangering her career and her life potentially. With season 4 already confirmed, fans cannot wait to witness what the show has in store for us next.

Witherspoon portrays Bradley Jackson, a news anchor at UBA. Her character is often seen as impulsive and protective, whose decisions can lead to disastrous consequences, not only for herself but the show as well. Forced to make complex decisions as a result of her alcoholic mother and drug-addicted brother, season 4 anticipates her potentially facing jail time.

While talking to Deadline, the Legally Blonde actress revealed why she enjoys playing her character as much as she does,

“I think so many people can relate to the idea that you have a family history that maybe isn’t flattering or that you’re embarrassed about, or there’s a family member in your life that’s trying to actively drag you down. So, it was just really tender to play this woman who wanted so badly to succeed and excel, being pulled back down by the heavy weight of family obligations and her isolation.”

Also serving as an EP on the show, Witherspoon does a wonderful job of playing Bradley. While season 4 details haven’t been announced yet, her exceptional portrayal up to season 3 of The Morning Show can be streamed on Apple TV+.
