Recently Remnant 2 has been gaining a lot of attention from gamers as they have been progressing through the game at such a fast rate as the number of players continues to grow, but there are some features in Remnant 2 that players are begging for and those features have now been confirmed that they will be coming in a future update which will help life the gameplay of Remnant 2 and expand its ever-growing player base.

What will be coming in this future update for Remnant 2?
Many gamers have been logging onto Remnant 2 and have been enjoying the large expansive world that they have been granted access to, and so far, there haven’t been many complaints in regards to gameplay mechanics, but this doesn’t mean that Remnant 2 is perfect. Recently Remnant 2‘s Game Director, David Adams has, taken to Reddit on the official Remnant 2 account to do a ask me anything Q&A, to which many players began asking him many questions regarding Remnant 2, and he gave a lot of interesting responses.
Many questions were asked and answered during this time by David Adams, but one question caught a lot of players’ attention as he was asked whether or not Remnant 2 would be receiving cross-play anytime soon, to which he answered, “Yes, we are looking at it,” as he also explained that the reason they are still working on it is the fact that there are still a few issues that need ironing out, but rest assured it is currently being worked on at this current time.
What else could be coming in the future for Remnant 2?
At the moment, there isn’t any information that tells us we will be receiving a proper expansion to Remnant 2, but it has been mentioned by David Adams that currently, there are plans to release new archetypes into the game, which is another word for classes. Regarding these new archetypes, David mentioned that they are planning to create and release more archetypes into Remnant 2 through downloadable content packs, which will most likely require purchasing.
So far, there are still a lot of different archetypes that need to be found in Remnant 2, but one of the most unique archetypes has been found, which was only available through data mining the game which Remnant 2‘s developers expected, which is why they hid this archetype this way. As far as we are aware, that will be the last time they hide something that needs data mining, but we never know, as there could always be more secrets lurking out there in Remnant 2.
