Resident Evil Village has arrived to boost the spooky season by becoming available for the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and all iPads with an M1 chip or later. The award-winning eighth game in Capcom’s survival horror franchise takes scared players on a thrill-packed adventure through a desolate, eerie European village filled with horrors of all kinds to fill your nightmares on a rescue mission led by protagonist Ethan in search of his daughter, Rose.

In addition to the full version of Resident Evil Village, the Winters Expansion, which features a third-person mode, new playable characters for The Mercenaries and Shadows of Rose modes, and the final chapter of the Winters family story, 16 years after the main story, it’s also now on the App Store.

The launch promises nothing less than ultra-realistic graphics that match consoles but in a portable form powered by Capcom’s RE ENGINE, which takes full advantage of Apple silicon and advanced features like MetalFX Upscaling to deliver this level of performance.

To fully emulate the feeling of playing on a console, Resident Evil Village on iPhone or iPad will have integrated, fully customizable touch controls to make it easy for anyone to play anywhere. The game will also support cross-progression between iPhone and iPad, allowing users with both devices to continue the story where they left off when switching them.

So if you’re excited and already have the devices, Resident Evil Village is now available for free download on the App Store, so you can try it out before securing the full game.

Resident Evil Village and Winters’ Expansion will be on sale until November 20, 2023, and iPhone and iPad users who purchase these products during this period will receive a special bonus, the Street Wolf Outfit. This alternative look can be used by Rose Winters in Shadows of Rose mode, where the character explores a mysterious realm of consciousness in search of a cure for her unwanted powers.

The complete edition of the Resident Evil Village original soundtrack is also available, along with a special offer that gives listeners up to 3 months of Apple Music for free. The remake of Resident Evil 4 and its additional downloadable content, Separate Ways, will arrive soon for the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and all iPads and Macs with an M1 chip or later.
