It’s been 9 years since Bloodborne was released. Ask any Bloodborne fan about the game and they will still talk about it with great excitement. To date, the game continues to be FromSoftware’s biggest hit.
After Bloodborne in 2015, the developer FromSoftware has released several other hits like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Dark Souls 3, and Elden Ring to name a few. Unfortunately, the multiplayer components of several FromSoftware games are known to become inaccessible, including that of Bloodborne.
However, Bloodborne loyalist and their liking for the game has not dwindled. And as a good news, they have a treat in store this March.
Bloodborne Return to Yharnam event
Bloodborne fans are called to return to the game between March 24 and April 7, 2024. The game will have a special event named Return to Yharnam 2024. The event will allow Bloodborne fans to create a new character, and play as much co-op as possible once again in the game.
Besides players can also leave messages that read “You’re in the know, right?” next to lanterns. The event is an excellent opportunity for veteran Bloodborne fans as they can relive the nostalgic game once again in 2024 starting March 24.

Return to Yharnam is an annual community-driven Bloodborne event. It is organized by the Bloodborne community to encourage fellow players to return to the game and revive its online components.
The event also stands as a great opportunity for the newer generation of gamers who missed the Bloodborne experience when it was first released in 2015. This year’s Return to Yharnam event could be the best way to fully experience the game.
Is there going to be a Bloodborne remaster?
It’s been years since fans have been waiting for a remaster of the game, however, there has been no word from the developers. Additionally, the studio has also not shown any interest in launching a Bloodborne PC port, thus keeping the critically acclaimed game trapped on PlayStation consoles. The only relief is that it has been made compatible with the current-gen PlayStation consoles, thus making it playable on the latest PlayStation devices, thanks to PS5 backward compatibility.
The game is currently available to be played on Sony’s native PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles. Likewise, the upcoming community event Return to Yharnam will also be accessible exclusively on the two consoles.
Players who are new to the Bloodborne universe and want to buy the game can do so on their PlayStation. The base game costs $19.99. Similarly, there is a Complete Edition bundle too, which includes the base game along with The Old Hunters expansion which is priced at $34.99.
