Rhea Ripley Shares Winning Tactics Against Former WWE Star

She told how Murphy put her in a triangle choke, but she refused to give up. She joked that her stubbornness kicked in, causing him to ease up a bit, which allowed her to turn the tables on him. Check out her quote below:

“Being in the relationship that I am with my partner with both wrestlers of course. So yeah, we scrap a little bit just for fun. I normally start it and I finish it. I’m also stubborn so like, he put me in some sort of submission…… he put me in it [triangle] and like he’s like just tap, I’m like ‘no,’ so he is like slowly got tighter and like his manhood was on the line. So he slowly got to the point where he got so tired he had to sort of let go a little bit  and that’s where I overpowered him and got out of him and pinned him on the ground.”

Matthews is definitely a strong wrestler himself, but it looks like Ripley have a bit of a competitive edge, even at home.

In the end, it just shows how strong and determined she is, but the AEW star is also a good sport who can take a playful pin from his future wife. After all, love is about having fun together, even if it means getting outsmarted by your partner sometimes.

Rhea Ripley Injured Ahead of WrestleMania 40

Recently, WWE fans noticed something different about Rhea Ripley during an episode of Monday Night Raw: she was wearing a hand brace. This has led to concerns among fans that she might be injured, especially considering she’s set to face Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40.

During the show, Mami showed up with Dominik Mysterio to comfort Elimination Chamber 2024 winner. However, neither Ripley nor WWE has said anything about her hand injury. Despite wearing the brace, it doesn’t appear to be too serious.

The fact that she’s still appearing on Raw and preparing for WrestleMania 40 suggests that whatever’s affecting her hand isn’t hindering her ability to compete. So, fans can probably still look forward to seeing The Eradicator in action against Big Time Becks at WrestleMania.
