Ripout, the cooperative horror first-person shooter title from the house of indie game company Pet Project Games, will launch in early access on October 24, 2023. The game will be published by 3D Realms. The announcement comes after two rounds of closed beta testing, two public demos, and various changes reflecting community feedback.
In Ripout, players will fight through abandoned and monster-infested spaceships, collect loot, and explore ships with their teams or alone. Ripout Early Access Goes Live On PC Soon
Developer Pet Project Games officially announced that Ripout will enter early access on PC this October 24 and will be available on the following major video game platforms: Steam, GoG, and Epic Games Store. The company has also announced that Ripout targets full release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles in early 2024, along with PC.
Ripout will cost players $24.99 on all PC platforms. Talking about the early access launch of the game, Goran Rajsic, Creative Director at Pet Project Games, stated,
We are confident in the current state of the game to enter early access as we’re slowly approaching the finish line of the development.
Our team has huge ambitions for the future of Ripout, and we’re looking forward to polishing it further throughout its early access period. We already have dozens of crazy content ideas we want to introduce through regular updates, and we want to hear player feedback to help guide us in the right direction.
Ripout is set in the 21st century, after humankind went on to conquer the solar system with its technical advancements, which soon turned disastrous. Aliens came to earth, and to fight these powerful monsters, humanity engineered a bioweapon, which backfired, turning humans into mutants. As one of the last remaining soldiers, players will try to take on these aliens and save humanity.

Ripout is a co-op horror shooter game with sci-fi elements where players go on a search for the last remaining humans and complete quick missions with thrilling gameplay and an exciting narrative. Players have a Pet Gun companion that acts as a blaster to take on enemies, or players can release their pet form to devour the monsters.
