According to reports from Page Six and Metro, guests were required to sign an NDA and phones were banned in Chris Evans and Alba Baptista’s very private wedding ceremony. However, reports also suggested the presence of Evans’ co-stars and friends from the Marvel franchise at the ceremony. The Marvel actors were seen together at the five-star Newbury Boston hotel on Saturday.

Robert Downey Jr., who played Iron Man in the MCU, was one of the reported attendees along with his wife Susan Downey. Downey Jr., despite their characters’ rivalry in Captain America: Civil War, was known to be good friends with the Ghosted actor. Downey Jr. had earlier shared his admiration for Evans, and the Sherlock Holmes actor even helped Evans overcome the anxiety in attending movie premieres.

Jeremy Renner has regained his health to some extent after the freak snowplow accident and he reportedly attended the Fantastic Four actor’s wedding. Renner played Hawkeye in the MCU and was Team Captain America when the Avengers split after the events of Civil War. He came out of retirement for Cap, so it’s no wonder he has come out for Evans’ wedding.

Chris Hemsworth was another reported attendee at the wedding. Reports also suggested that Hemsworth was accompanied by his wife and actress Elsa Pataky. The Extraction actor played Thor in the Marvel movies, and it was a sensational moment when Captain America lifted Thor’s hammer in Avengers: Endgame. They share similar powers, so it’s only right for Hemsworth to be at the wedding.

The star couple, John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, were also rumored to have attended the wedding ceremony. Although Evans had said goodbye to the MCU by the time Krasinski entered the franchise, the two actors are good friends. Krasinski even jokes about how Evans stole the role of Captain America from him. Krasinski played Reed Richards in Doctor Strange 2.
