According to reports, Stephenie Meyer, the author of the Twilight book series, once pictured Hollywood Hunk Henry Cavill as Edward Cullen. The role later was played by Pattinson in the film adaptations. The Remember Me star was so determined to play the lead vampire in the movie that he avoided his co-stars for weeks on the sets. In an interview, his co-star Kristen Stewart stated that she frequently had to calm him on the set of Twilight since he was so invested in his performance.

The actress told Collider,

“Rob sometimes…we wouldn’t be able to shoot a scene. It was like, we’re not going to be able to get anything in the can if you don’t just calm down. So, yeah, there were times when I had to like sort of do that. And he hated me too when I did that. The problem was that any time you’d say, No, you’re really good. No! Do you think that I need that?! It’s like, No. I’m just actually being genuinely honest because I really like what’s going on here. I think it had a lot to do with the part that he was playing.”

Kristen Stewart starred as Bella Swan, and Rober Pattinson as Edward Cullen in the titular film. The fascinating movie series revolves around a teenage girl Bella, who falls in love with the old vampire Edward after relocating to Forks, Washington, to live with her dad.
