Players will work in different sections like the showroom and bistro, among other things, including serving IKEA meatballs. Players will also see the “unique approach” at the company to careers, where people from non-linear careers are normal and moves across departments are common.

The hired candidates will be paid £13.15ph per hour, which is the same rate paid to a co-worker in London. This equates to $14.31 and is also aligned with the Living Wage Foundation’s real living wage, as per the company.

All the candidates hired will be helping the customers and will get promoted to new departments as per their performance. Also, the hiring process is the same as any other job, and this partnership is the first phase of the company’s drive to attract a new generation of co-workers.
