That’s why, from now on, players don’t have to travel to the nightclub, bail office, arcade, agency, salvage yard, or any other businesses to get the cash from the safe. Not only that, with this app, players can purchase ammo, request, and purchase car club vehicles as well.

Everything was perfect until it was realized that Rockstar had put this superb QoL feature under a paywall. Yes, to use this feature, you have to be a GTA+ subscriber. This is a subscription service through which players can enjoy a new selection of monthly benefits, enhanced CEO and VIP perks.

There are also special amenities at the Vinewood Club, GTA$, access to other Rockstar Games titles, and many more. This subscription costs $7.99 a month and is only available on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox One X/S.

The new feature has been highly acclaimed by the fans, but not the fact that you have to be a GTA+ subscriber to enjoy that feature. Another part of the community is extremely dissatisfied that they are exempted from using this feature as they play the game on PC.

So, even after paying an amount every month, this useful feature, which is surely going to make the gameplay better, is only limited to higher-gen consoles. A fan on Reddit has expressed his disgust towards Rockstar for its tendency to “lock out genuinely good features from non-subscribing players.”

Also, he has stated his concern about how GTA 6 Online is going to be. This new QoL feature is not the only thing that has been put behind a paywall. Previously, Rockstar had put a feature behind the subscription paywall as well, with which players could stack 100 personal vehicles in the Vinewood Club Garage.

In this garage, players can also modify their vehicles. But sadly, all of these come with a subscription cost. GTA+ is well and truly an effective subscription service with a lot of perks and benefits in GTA 5. But fans haven’t liked the fact that Rockstar is trying to lock in every unique feature under its paywall.
