During the shooting of the movie, Roger Moore had his daily dose of afternoon naps so that he could rest. This peace was interrupted by Grace Jones when she blasted her music loudly in her dressing room. In his memoir, Moore admitted that he had tried to tell Grace Jones to stop two or three times. When she continued to blast her music, the actor’s rage took over.

“Every day in her dressing room she played very loud rock music that made the walls shake. An afternoon nap was out of the question. I did ask her several times to turn it down, to no avail.”

In his memoir (via Express) Roger Moore stated that due to his rage, he threw his chair right against the wall of his dressing room. This created tension between the actors right before they had to do a s*x scene.

“One day I snapped. I marched into her room, yanked the plug out, then flung a chair at the wall. The dent is still there. Still, we had yet to do a love scene together. I slipped between the sheets. She slid in beside me, bringing with her an enormous black s*x toy. Very funny.”

It seems that Roger Moore has a knack for problems during his intimate scenes as in the 1979 film Moonraker, Moore revealed that the zero-gravity simulation caused severe problems for him.

Moonraker was a 1979 film with the story set in space. With Roger Moore portraying the role, he was joined by Lois Chiles as the lead actress. One of the most iconic scenes in the film was Moore and Chiles sleeping naked under the covers…in space.

Well not exactly in the empty void of space but in the space shuttle under the effects of zero gravity. Talking about shooting that scene, Moore revealed to Express that it was the hardest intimate scene that he had to shoot since they had him hanging upside down for the scene.

“I was hanging there, with all the blood rushing into my nose and eyes.”

They eventually managed to shoot the scene and the scene became one of the most Bond-esque moments in the franchise. Although received average reviews, Roger Moore’s A View to a Kill is available to stream on Prime Video in the U.S.
