Assassin’s Creed Titans is rumored to be back from the dead with a massive rework from its original vision. At first, it was reported to be a title similar to Monster Hunter, but it is now being suggested by a supposed leaker on 4chan that the game will instead be a “brawler looter type in the vain of Gotham Knights [and] Avengers,” comparisons that will excite gaming fans everywhere for sure.

Several other bits of interesting info about Assassin’s Creed Titans are present in the leak, as well. It is noted in the comments that it has “been in development since 2018 technically since the original version was a Monster Hunter Like Game,” however this new version has supposedly only been worked on for about a year at this point.

What Is Assassin’s Creed Titans About?

Whereas Mirage aims to bring the series back to basics, Assassin's Creed Titans would seemingly upend the franchise entirely.
Whereas Mirage aims to bring the series back to basics, Assassin’s Creed Titans would seemingly upend the franchise entirely.

According to the leaker, the game will revolve around a character being trained in a completely new version of the series’ staple Animus machine, but eventually gets trapped inside of it and must find a way to get out of it. Resultingly, players will find themselves finding a mashup of historical figures including “William Wallace, Julias Caesar, and Attila the Hun.”

Players will have four classes to choose from in Assassin’s Creed Titans. Each of these has its own unique ultimate ability. These include “The Spartan” which wields a sword and shield and can buff their allies, “The Apache” which wields dual axes and makes use of stance changes, “The Medjay” which wields a spear and “can double jump and parkour faster,” and finally “The Viking” class, which fittingly has a hammer and can heal allies as well as revive allies who have been downed.

Some commenters voiced their displeasure with what this leak claims for the game, though they noted that, ironically enough, the perceived poor practices pertaining to it perhaps suggest that it may be even more believable rather than less so.

The leak also claims that the primary hub area for the game will feature several past protagonists as NPC allies. The list Edward Kenway, Bayek, Evie Fryre, and even the star of the original Assassin’s Creed, Altair, as being vendors in Villa Auditore, the name for the hub area.
