Where Is Ryan Gosling And Chris Evans’ The Gray Man Sequel?

Back in 2022, the world saw two big stars team up (or rather fight each other) in a Netflix original film titled The Gray Man. With a budget of $200 million (via IMDB) and Joe and Anthony Russo set as directors, The Gray Man is Netflix’s one of the most successful original films ever made.

Joe and Anthony Russo (collectively known as the Russo brothers) are known for their fame in directing Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. After the duo exited the MCU, the Russo brothers have been keeping themselves busy.

Directing the 2022 film The Gray Man starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans, the duo received praise for their action sequences. In an interview with GamesRadar+, the duo revealed that there’s a reason why a sequel to The Gray Man is taking so long.

“We’re developing concepts we think are the right direction to take the character in and so, we are working on that at the moment. I mean, you’re juggling like 14 things at the same time so you have to apportion your time correctly to each one of them.” said Joe Russo.

As per GamesRadar+, a sequel to The Gray Man was announced as soon as the original film hit Netflix. With people giving love and support to the 2022 film, the plans for a sequel became even more strong. But with multiple projects to juggle, it seems that the Russo brothers have been rather “too” busy after the MCU.

And when the director said 14 brothers, he didn’t mean biologically. As the interview further continued, Anthony Russo talked about the perks of having their own company now. With frequent collaborators and creative ideas, here’s what Anthony Russo had to say about their company.

“But that’s part of the benefit of having our own company now, which is filled with really important collaborators that we’ve been working with for many years, and that’s the only way we’re able to sustain this level of work. We always joke there’s not two Russo Brothers, there’s like 14.”

Joe and Anthony Russo’s company, known as AGBO is an independent entertainment company in Los Angeles and has already some iconic movies to its name. So there is a surety that the world will get to see a sequel to The Gray Man (and Extraction 3) in due time.

With a rating of 6.5/10 on IMDB and a whopping 90% on Rotten Tomatoes, Joe and Anthony Russo’s The Gray Man is available to stream on Netflix across the world.
