Ryan Gosling Knew Damien Chazelle’s Vision Before A Script Was Made

In an interview with GQ, Gosling revealed that he was already able to see the director’s vision without even reading the script.
“Even in that first meeting, I felt as though I had just seen the film.”
While Damien Chazelle repaid the compliment in kind by stating how he was a big fan of Gosling’s work before they met.
“I was just excited because I’d been a fan of Ryan’s for so long. Just to get to meet him and talk to him, that was its own kind of prize in a way.”
