Back when he was 16 years of age, Ryan Gosling had moved to Los Angeles and was auditioning at Warner Bros. The actor revealed that the people at Warner Bros. wouldn’t let him climb the famous water tower that has the WB logo on it.

As the years progressed, Gosling started getting more fame and love from the world. After starring alongside Margot Robbie in Barbie (which was a Warner Bros. film), Gosling revealed in an interview with Variety that after starring in the 2023 film, the people at Warner Bros. allowed him to climb the iconic water tower!

“When I was 16 and moved to Los Angeles and was auditioning at Warner Bros., they wouldn’t have let me climb the water tower. Ten years ago, when I shot ‘La La Land’ here, they wouldn’t have let me climb the tower. For whatever reason, right now, at this stage in my life and career, they’re letting me climb the water tower. So climb it while you can, because I don’t know if I’ll be able to climb it tomorrow.”

Well, the good news for the world is that Gosling did climb the iconic water tower for a photo shoot with Variety. The interesting news is that Gosling remembers the exact point in time when he got the idea of wanting to climb the water tower!

As the interview continued, Gosling couldn’t stop talking about that particular water tower. Ryan Gosling recalled that during the 1990s, an animated show called Animaniacs planted the idea of the WB water tower in his head.

“When I was very little, there was a show called ‘Animaniacs—And they lived at Warner Bros. in the water tower that was like their clubhouse. I loved that show. And I think it planted some seed in my head.”
