Ryan Reynold’s First Movie With Hugh Jackman

In a recent interview with Variety, Free Guy actor Ryan Reynolds open expressed his feeling towards his first movie starring as Wade Wilson alongside star actor Hugh Jackman in his solo movie, X-Men Origins: Wolverine. It is a fact that the movie did not perform well at the box office despite having big time actors in the movie.

Ryan Reynolds called the movie “an absolute trash” in the interview and continued to put the blame on his co-star Jackman, he continued,

“Everyone’s expecting me to eviscerate Hugh Jackman but I will say he was one of the first movie stars I ever worked with, back in 2007, on an absolute trash fire called ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ — that one was on him”

“And what struck me about him was just he was so kind. He was one of the first people I watched at that level that treated the caterer the same way as the director or the producer or the head of the studio. He just treated everyone the same.

And you know that kind of impression spreads. And I think Hugh Jackman is probably responsible for a lot of better people who work in the weird and wonderful world of showbusiness. So yeah.”

Though Ryan Reynolds blames him for the failure of the movie, its not like his acting was poor or the production team did a sloppy job, a movie failed as a whole. Still the Canadian actor had some good things to say about Hugh Jackman as he earned the respect of many on the set where he treated everyone with equal respect. Despite the decade long feud between the two with insane regenerative ability, they have nothing but respect for the other and have maintained a healthy relationship all this time.

Deadpool 3: The Reunion of Deadpool and Wolverine

In the next installment of the Deadpool franchise, the threequel, Deadpool 3, it has been officially announced that Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine will make a comeback and it’s a first that an already dead character is being brought back on the screen. Though it has been done once with Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow, it is highly doubtful that the upcoming movie will ponder on their past.
