It Ends With Us Is A Good Adaptation
The story follows Lily Bloom with a dream to make it big with a business idea. When she meets a charismatic neurosurgeon, things take a turn as they start falling in love.
However, Lily starts seeing the sides of her lover, which reminds her of her parents’ relationship. The film intensifies when Lily’s first love, Atlas Corrigan, reenters her life. This puts Lily Bloom in a dilemma as she has to eventually make a choice between the two.
The It Ends With Us book by Colleen Hoover went on to become an international bestseller and the reviews of the film adaptation are quite good. Blake Lively shines as Lily Bloom in the movie while Justin Baldoni and Brandon Sklenar provide an excellent supporting role.
Upon its release, the film received a rating of 7.2/10 on IMDB and an average of 57% on Rotten Tomatoes.
The film is currently screening in theaters around the world.
