Even though most of the cast was loved, Sakura Haruno remains the only one who was hated throughout the series. She is one of the members of Team Kakashi and grows up to be a fine Kunoichi. Sakura Haruno surpassed Lady Tsunade and became one of the best kunoichi ever. She even unlocked the 100 Healing Jutsu within three years of training. Such achievements have not been enough for the fans to respect her. Naruto Uzumaki had one of the saddest childhoods. Knowing that, she was more concerned about Sasuke Uchiha, and made fun of the protagonist. Even Masashi Kishimoto mentioned that she should have done better with the kunoichi.
Sakura is lowkey one of the most selfless characters in the series, a trait most people seem to sadly ignore about her character.

Recently, a Reddit user posted several frames of Sakura where she was seen to help others. Most people seemed to have forgotten that she was ready to fail the exams so that Naruto’s Hokage dream would not get crushed. She protected her teammates for an entire night during the Chunin exams, and helped Obito even when she was at her limit. Sakura even fought Sasori to protect Granny Chiyo, whom she had known only for a few days. There are numerous other moments when she proved her worth to the fans.
The pink-head kunoichi knew Naruto was hurting while searching for Sasuke. For his safety, she even proposed to him and asked him not to go after the Uchiha. It might have been the wrong move, but her intentions were pure. Moreover, Sakura’s parents were not shinobis. So, she came from an ordinary family and became the strongest kunoichi of her generation. Sakura changed, and maybe it is time the fans also change their opinion about her.
Sakura Is One Of The Important Characters In Boruto
In Boruto, Sakura Haruno is married to Sasuke Uchiha, her teenage crush. Together they have a daughter named, Sarada Uchiha. She became the Head of the Medical Department and the director of Konoha Hospital. Though her screen time has been a lot less compared to Naruto Shippuden, it does not lessen her importance as a character. She is the one who dissected and provided the anatomy report of the defeated Otsutsukis. It proved to be useful while locating, or fighting them.
On top of that, she is a loving mother and a wife. Boruto Uzumaki once mentioned that she could become a Hokage.
Everyone should be given a chance at forgiveness. Sakura is pretty mature and respects Naruto. Even though their initial bumpy relationship led to her being hated, everything has been resolved. Masashi Kishimoto too would be happy if the Kunoichi got the respect she deserves.
