Sami Zayn who faced Gunther on Night 1 had a surprisingly endearing moment before he entered the ring. As seen in a video circulated on X, the superstar is pretty hyped up for his match and as he makes his way to the arena, Kevin Owens is seen waiting for him at the entrance. The two embrace with a hug with Owens motivating Zayn to do his best.
This has made his entrance one of the best of Night 1 along with the Rock. While the Final Boss’ entry was more about swag and badassery, Zayn managed to pull the audience’s heartstrings with his endearing moment with Owns. Night 1 has been a big success and all eyes are on Night 2 as Rhodes faces Reigns, with the lingering question of whether Rhodes will be able to finally finish his story.

Night 1 of WrestleMania proved to be a blast for WWE fans as the main event tag match with The Rock and Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes lived up to the hype. The Bloodline cousins managed to defeat Rhodes and Rollins after a 40-minute match (via The Independent). This means that tomorrow’s match between Rhodes and Reigns will be under Bloodline rules, making it a big bad news for Rhodes.
In a press conference after the match, Dwayne Johnson provided an update about what to expect from tomorrow’s match. He simply said, “You can sure expect the unexpected, a lot of surprises” (via X). This has increased the excitement around the conclusive match that fans have been waiting for.
