The last time we spotted Sam Raimi in a directorial credit was the highly anticipated Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness. Although Marvel Studios tried to put a tinge of horror in the MCU film, the last true horror movie by Raimi was 2009’s Drag Me to Hell.

Now according to a trusted insider Daniel Richtman, Sam Raimi is reported to join hands with the Oscar-winning Sandra Bullock for his horror comeback.

The script of the upcoming flick is penned by Mark Swift and Damian Shannon. The screenwriter duo have prior experience with horror after working in Freddy vs. Jason and 2009’s Friday the 13th. Even though the reception of the two movies raises some concerns, with Sam Raimi as the captain of the ship, the fans are very excited about the upcoming project.
