But there’s a twist here: This time, she is reportedly more focused on the big bucks earned. According to the latest reports from sources, she will be making sure her Hollywood return isn’t cheap by focusing on producing movies the way she did on The Lost City.
Sandra Bullock Reportedly Looking for Big Bucks to Return to Hollywood
Around 2 years ago, Bullock decided to step back from acting to focus more on her children and family, slowing things down a bit and putting her professional career in the backseat for a while.
However, it seems like she is now all set to end that hiatus of hers, as recent reports claim ‘America’s Sweetheart’ to be eyeing big bucks for her Hollywood comeback.
As per what sources spilled to In Touch, The Proposal actress will reportedly be focused more on the money for her comeback project. The source claims:
Sandra will come back to Hollywood this year and determine, finally, what her next project will be, but it’s going to be on her terms and it isn’t going to come cheap.
That’s not all. As the source continued to claim, Sandra Bullock is looking forward to gaining “an extraordinary level of control to come back on a studio project,” further raising the question:
Who is willing to give her that level of power and money for the privilege of actually working with her?
Of course, it doesn’t seem easy, and Bullock may have to turn down a lot of projects due to the same. To say the least, her comeback would be a truly expensive one if these reports are indeed true.
Back when she announced her hiatus, the Miss Congeniality star claimed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that she doesn’t “want to be beholden to anyone’s schedule other than my own.” That said, it seems like these reports may not be too far from the truth.
But that’s not all. As per further claims from the source, it seems like Bullock had been looking forward to this ever since her last project, The Lost City.
Sources Claim Sandra Bullock is Being “Incredibly Picky” for Her Next Project
According to further reports from the source, The Blind Side actress seems to have been wanting this ever since her wildly profitable 2022 film starring Channing Tatum, in which she both starred and produced.
As it turns out, the success through the same has reportedly driven her to become “incredibly picky” with what her comeback project is going to be.
As per what the source claimed:
After the wild and very profitable experience of producing and starring in The Lost City two years ago, Sandra finally has the taste back for picking and running her own films instead of leaving that to other filmmakers and directors, which she did a lot during the 2010’s to mixed results.
Since she already had the sweetest taste of having that level of control over a project, Bullock seems to be optimistic about her future projects if she continues to exercise the same authority on her upcoming pieces as well.
The source claims, “This worked like gangbusters on The Lost City and she’s being incredibly picky about what her follow-up project is going to be.”
Needless to say, judging from the level of success she has faced, Sandra Bullock has the right to be at least that picky with her projects, especially if money is the one thing she is seemingly most focused on from here onwards.
