The anime is widely known for being one of the oldest and longest-running animes of all time, along with the immense character building of the main protagonist – Naruto Uzumaki, who has passed many hardships one can accomplish with the support of his friends and his most sensei. One of the key features of the anime is that among the multiple clans present, the Uchiha clan with their unrivaled visual prowess called the Sharingan is the strongest clan of the whole anime, and this article will cover some allegations regarding this comma-shaped eye pattern known as the Tomoe.

Naruto Fans Blast Black Clover For Copying The Sharingan

Black Clover is one of the fan-favorite animes alongside Naruto as they have ruled the generation with their manga franchises and it hasn’t been long since Naruto’s manga ended, still it is claimed as the best of all times. Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of Naruto has indeed accomplished a fabulous feat in this lifetime that will down in history as the best until Luffy finds the one piece that is. Recently, Black Clover creator Yuki Tabata has been involved in an accusation put on them by enraged Naruto fans for copying the Uchiha Clan’s unique trait, the Sharingan, that awakens when an individual goes through tough times, does immense hard work and also when one is in desperation.

It is not the first time Black Clover has been accused of copying ideas from Kishimoto’s creation, not only ideas, Tabata has been accused of even copying characters from the franchise like Captain Yama who has the literal same back story as the fan-favorite Itachi Uchiha. Yuki Tabata’s show is recently getting flamed as the most recent update of the manga shows a character awakening a new power that looks like the combination of the comma-shaped Sharingan and the Godfather of Kishimoto’s manga, Otsutsuki Hagoromo’s Sage of Six Paths.

After this aired, fans from all over the world took to social media to express their opinions and disappointment towards Black Clover, though the series is a very top-level production from Tabata, these accusations might be the main reason if it falls. As there are Naruto fans exponential times the fans of Black Clover, there is no way on Earth that Black Clover comes out of it unscathed. Many have even drawn out comparisons between the two shows and shared them over their social media account for everyone to judge.

Hunter X Hunter Fans Come to the Rescue of Black Clover

Masashi Kishimoto did not make the Tomoe, though the origin of it not well known, it is a part of Japanese Mythology and in ancient times it was displayed in ceremonies like festivals and rituals for Amaterasu, the Goddess of Sun. The Tomoe has been in this culture for thousands of years and many also used this piece of information to defend Yuki Tabata’s Black Clover but with no result. As the rivalry started on social media, many Hunter X Hunter fans have also come forward in support of Black Clover as one of their characters Kurapika was copied by Kishimoto’s best character design, Sasuke.

So taking into account that the Tomoe already existed in this world, thousands of years before Kishimoto even started drafting Naruto, the accusations and the fingers pointed towards Black Clover do not hold any value, but it is highly unlikely that the riled-up fans and followers of Naruto would understand that. Despite all these obstacles, Black Clover is a top-tier anime with the first-class character development of not only the main protagonist but also of the side characters and unparalleled world-building (not better than One Piece though).
