In terms of television series, Naruto is among the most well-known to have originated in Japan and become a world-class franchise. One of the most well-liked franchises in the world for a long time was Masashi Kishimoto’s groundbreaking ninja series has everything an anime fan needs. It addresses many difficult topics, such as the nature of conflict, the perpetuation of violence, and trauma, which is dealt with most often.
Sasuke Uchiha is the character that most embodies trauma. The plot of Sasuke’s tale revolves around his interactions with the mysterious Uchiha clan, the strong Madara Uchiha, and particularly his elder brother Itachi.
Sasuke was originally intended by Kishimoto to be Naruto Uzumaki’s adversary in the series’ title role. Kishimoto refrained from depicting Sasuke as a villain even though he eventually developed a dark side to the character. However, Sasuke would never have been a part of Naruto had it not been for Kishimoto’s editor.
The Creation of Sasuke Uchiha
Sasuke is a member of the Uchiha clan, one of the most formidable and infamous ninja families, who are associated with Konohagakure. Before the series started, Sasuke’s older brother Itachi Uchiha massacred the majority of its members, leaving Sasuke as one of the few survivors. Although Sasuke is arguably the most significant character in the series after Naruto, Kishimoto had other ideas for him.
In his initial idea for the Naruto series, which centers on the character Naruto Uzumaki, Kishimoto did not include Sasuke Uchiha. When talking about the future of the series, his editor, Kosuke Yahagi, suggested that he include a rival character for the main character, Naruto, so he came up with Sasuke.
This character was created with the idea that he would be the ideal antithesis of Naruto. Unlike Naruto, who is completely untalented and has bright blond hair, he has black hair, a solitary disposition, and genetic advantages.
Other Changes Made By Masashi Kishimoto’s Editors For Naruto
Some of the manga’s now-iconic elements were altered by Kishimoto at the request of the Naruto editor. Gaara was initially intended to be Jotaro, but Kosuke Yahagi, his first editor, thought Gaara would be a better choice. Regarding Zabuza, Kishimoto attempted to name the Hidden Mist renegade Momotaro, but the editor gave the hired gun his name. The artist was reprimanded by the editor for having Kakashi talk like an elderly man when he was supposed to be the Sharingan Devil.
The editors also requested that Kishimoto stop making the Hokage and teacher animals, have all of the characters take the Chunin Exam at once, and change the models for Rock Lee and the other Chunin Exam characters, among other things.
Some of Naruto’s most significant elements are altered by these modifications. Every character, from Sasuke to Gaara to Kakashi, underwent some changes, but fans generally concur that these were for the best.
