However, Sasuke’s importance in Naruto’s life is much more than fans realize.

Sasuke is the most important character in Naruto’s development, even though he seemingly disappears from the story for long stretches of time. There is a balance between the two characters. While they share a rivalry, as the story reaches the sequel (Boruto), both of them are willing to die for each other.
