Naruto Will Look To Rectify Death Note‘s Mistake
Netflix’s One Piece Live Action has become a massive success, and Naruto will look to recreate the same story. Destin Daniel Cretton’s inclusion has boosted the fans’ hope, and Tasha Huo also confirmed that the script of the movie is finished. She mentioned it during an interview with Entertainment Weekly. Currently, the script is with the director, who is busy doing his stuff to it before the filming begins.
Tasha Huo also said,
I think that’s such a cool choice because he’s going to be able to capture how nuanced and special Naruto is without getting distracted by the big world that it is, which I think could easily be done by someone who’s not a fan or someone who’s coming in for a cash payday. This is definitely a movie that comes at it from a love of who Naruto is and that character and his relationships.
Hearing her statement, the fans have raised their hopes that Naruto Live Action will not be making the same mistake as Netflix’s Death Note Live Action. There was no connection to the actual story except for the characters. The plot had no weight and looked like the director knew nothing about the story.
But Naruto might avoid such situations since the director would not be overwhelmed by the massive shinobi world. Naruto is one of the Big Three of anime and has an aura. It is crucial to control the aura for the story to reach a proper level. The director will need to be careful with each step.
Naruto Live Action Is Yet To Have A Release Date
Naruto Live Action has had several updates since it was first announced. Crucial people and staff have been appointed, and they have started working on the project. Even though Lionsgate will be producing the movie, the final cast is yet to be announced. Apart from that, the executives have not given any proper release date. Even the fans cannot speculate when the movie will be released.
After the anime and manga industry, One Piece has won hearts with the live-action. The Naruto franchise will be under pressure with the live action, especially when their rivals have performed so well.
